Let's Lighten Things Up Around Here, Shall We

Maxine - Color is Good!
(from my inbox~thanks Aunt Jan!)

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my yearly physical.

My blood pressure was high, my cholesterol was high,

I'd gained some weight, and I didn't feel so hot.

My doctor said eating right doesn't have to
Be complicated and it would solve my physical
Problems. He said just think in colors...
Fill your plate with bright colors... Greens,
Yellows, reds, etc.

I went right home and ate an Entire bowl of:

And sure enough, I felt better immediately.

I never knew eating right Could be so easy.

Hi, I should comment on the serious ones, which are so great, but I really did enjoy this post! Mmm. :) Anyway, I also popped in to tell you that I invited you to participate in a meme about "How do I envision heaven?" My blog post about this is at:

How fun! Come on over MPN and let's go for a walk together and then have a spinach salad with cold chicken (it's still warm here) and tomato etc etc. I've been feeling a little fluffy too and it is coming to a scretching halt.

But this is hi-larious! Sometimes ya gotta thumb your nose!
