Quote 0' the Day
I have been far too busy to blog lately, but I have to share this. Quote of the day from my three year old daughter. One thing that you have to know is that as Catholics, we believe that when we receive Communion, we receive the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus. Secondly, as Eastern Rite Catholics, Communion is received by children as soon as they are Baptized and Chrismated. Third, in the Eastern Churches,
leavened bread, that is dipped into the wine, is used for Communion.
Okay, now for the quote, spoken after Divine Liturgy, on the way out of church...

I am glad that God is food, because I was HUNGRY!!

BWAHAHA!
(What is Chrismated?)
Lisa,
Chrismated means "Confirmed". It is the sacrament where we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Really cute...on so many levels.
Gotcha! ;o)
