perspective...

I keep a supply of frozen lasagna and macaroni and cheese on hand for those especially busy days, so that the main part of dinner is a no brainer. Just last night we had the macaroni and cheese, with some other homemade side dishes. My 12 year old daughter commented that we are a lucky, lucky family becuase when we buy frozen dinners, we don't get the "family size", WE have to get the "Party Size". For the rest of the meal, we were elaborating on the point that our life together is a big, noisy festivity. Aren't we lucky? It is all in how you look at things, isn't it??

Have a blessed day!

We have to get the party size, too, and I tell the kids it's because everyday is a party at our house!

it really is all about how we look at things....life with a big family is full of ups and downs..negative days and positive days....it's all so worth it for the times when we look at our broods and feel really blessed for them.....

My kids think it's hilarious that "family size" is for a family of four or five. Their vision of family is much larger: around here it includes six on earth, one in heaven, two new brothers-in-law and a new baby niece or nephew on the way.
Isn't it a party all the time when family=fun?
