More Ordinary Days

My 11 year old and I saw this from the window and were enchanted!
Self explanatory
Art supplies and painted paper we use for our nature journals ( in the style of Eric Carle)
Melanie enjoying the puzzles
Our little gerbil
My genius baby, who found a corner to play in and enjoyed the flash cards immensely.
The three youngest girls
The classroom in action.
The medal my 11 year old wears.

I love your "Ordinary Days." Honest, unstaged scenes like this are much more satisfying than artificially set up "vignettes," which no matter how perfectly artistic still can't hope to emanate the same warmth. But then perhaps I am a bit biased, because getting to really see your family means so much to me.
I can relate to the feelings of peace and gratitude these photos must give you. I could use a little of that myself; perhaps I will try this. :-)

I was going to write somewhere that these are un-staged, un-photo shopped pictures, but then figured that was pretty obvious. I do have some coming up of my mantle decoration and some such "still life", but again, no photo-shopping for me!

I agree, these photos are such a beautiful snapshop.
I love the baby doing her math, and the eleven year old. So serious! Many Years

Melanie is just adorable, and I loved the pic of the 3 little girls! Too sweet. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks Emma looks like Melanie. Your DH saw it too. :)

I also bought some daffodils at TJ's the other day. They've opened up this morning and are so cheery!
