Gone Gardening...

I have a garden to put in, hostas to transplant, a slew of free day lilies to plant and a new flower bed to cut in, rototill and fill with divided flowers from my existing flower bed. The day is sunny, balmy, breezy, with freshly rained upon soil, and in short, couldn't be more perfect.

One of my favorite things to do while gardening is to say the Jesus Prayer. You'll find it top of my sidebar. There is no better way to spend your time, to be sure.

So, until this perfect weather is overcome, I'll be outside.

Blessings!

I love gardens. I love the perfume of the flowers, the smell of the rich dark earth. I wish I was given the talent of gardening. I am lovely at killing plants and growing weeds.
Sigh.

Hi Renee. Thanks for commenting at the "new" yes, "experimental" blog. I'm actually not going to be using it afterall...
I've decided tonight to return my new computer (iMac) as I think it's a lot of money for such a silly luxury and there are other reasons...
But, because I won't have an iMac anymore, I won't be able to blog at the .mac place where that experimental blog is hosted...so, I have to now figure out how to tell them to delete the blog!
I'm not even sure about keeping the blogspot one at this point...
It's 1am and I have a post brewing in my mind, that'll explain these feelings I think.

Ohhh! I love gardening! I love feeling that good, dark dirt between my fingers and toes, and putting little seeds in it that will some day soon become chard or carrots or broccoli or Sweet William. I put in some daylilies my Father-In-Law dug up from his garden, as well as some stocks and a lilac bush! I can't wait to get out there and do more!!

Renee,

I imagine that you can make anything beautiful, so anytime you fancy hopping on a flight to rainy England to come and jazz up my garden, you'll be more than welcome!

I loathe gardening, my back aches just to look at the weeds :-(

Can I come help? I can make us some lightweight and cool all-muslin gardening aprons!

KM ~ if you made gardening aprons you wouldn't be able make them so cute, or no one would want to get them all dirty. But yes, gardening aprons would be o, so, helpful!
